This is cute!

So I never have anything funny to share, but my sister does! So I couldn't resist copying her post to share with all of you. Enjoy!
From the mouth of babes.....

This is great! It's a conversation I had with Crew after Brenlyn came to me and told me that Crew was poking a needle in his skin on his palm (something he picked up from his older bro's, I'm sure)

Jenn: Crew, Bren told me you were poking yourself with a needle. Don't you remember what we learned in primary about our bodies?
Crew: Ya, owe body is a tempo
Jenn: Ya, like the temple mom and dad go to, huh? It's Heavenly Father's house. How do we treat the temple?
Crew: Nice
Jenn: That's right. Should we color on our temple? Or treat it mean?
Crew: No, so when you are at the tempo, you are in somebody's hand?
(what the? Where do I go from here? I composed myself and asked...)
Jenn: So do you think it's treating your body nice to poke it with a needle?
Crew: No, but when I do, am I poking people inside my hand?

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I think there is a little confusion with the whole temple-the house and temple-our body!!!! Four years olds are outstanding!

Yeah for springtime!!!

Well, I think it's time for a new post since it's a change in season, huh? I didn't mean for a new blog post to be such a rare occasion, I'll try to do better. Anyway, I am SO excited for springtime! There is just something about it that livens my spirit. Isn't the AZ weather just amazing right now?

Well, for a little update on us, we are still living in my parents' basement.  For a few days last week, we had been smelling some foul odor we thought was maybe a hidden dirty diaper. Finally, Aaron heard a dripping sound in the wall and the carpet was all soaked near one wall. Well, a pipe had cracked and created a huge disaster area! We are living in a construction zone now, with the carpet and wall torn apart. The day they tore it out, the smell was so rank it was difficult to be anywhere inside the house! They are still trying to locate the leak, and there will be more torn apart before it gets better. We still have to move everything out of the basement so we can redo the carpet, wall, painting, etc. It's not going to be fun.

Anyway, my parents are just great and we enjoy their company. My mom watches Kinlee for us when I am at work and Aaron is at school. After 3 years at Desert Schools, Aaron left to focus on school full time. Yeah Aaron! He is doing great and enjoying being able to focus his full attention on schoolwork. I am working 4 days a week at Dolce still doing massage, anyone want to come in and see me?

I'll post more pics soon. Hope you're all doing great!

Well I guess it's time for a quick update on our family. We had such a great thanksgiving and, I'm sure like all of you, see more clearly just how much we really have to be thankful for. We are so blessed! It is always so great to spend time with loved ones. We are so grateful for our dear friends and family.

We are especially grateful this year for the new addition to our family, our sweet little Kinlee! Every day we are amazed by her and the joy she brings to us. It still feels so surreal that we are actually parents and get to raise this beautiful child! Experiencing the love for a child gives us a tiny glimpse of the love our Heavenly Father has for each of us, His children. It is perfect and unconditional.

We are excited for the Christmas season (at least Karalee is - can finally play Christmas music without hearing moaning that "it isn't even Thanksgiving yet!") I'm sure Kinlee will enjoy the Christmas tree and lights. Karalee is thankful that she's not quite mobile yet so she won't have to concern herself with protecting Kinlee from the tree, or the tree from Kinlee!

Today Aaron had another surgery, on his shoulder. A couple of months ago he had one on his right thumb to repair a ligament. He finally got released from that one and here we go again. Both are on his right arm, which is a bit of a pain! Hopefully everything will heal well...and quickly! Try going through a day w/out being able to use your right arm!

Well, we love you all and hope you have a great Christmas season!
